bluetooth drivers does not appear at device manager and sometimes sounds when turning on

product name is hp elitebook 8440p

Hi:

 

If there is no Bluetooth device manager category in your notebook, most likely the BT was turned off during the upgrade to W10.

 

W10 automatically installs the Bluetooth driver.

 

To turn the Bluetooth on, you can do the following...

 

Make a bootable Ubuntu installer (Ubuntu Desktop).

 

https://ubuntu.com/download

 

Boot from the Ubuntu installer and select the option to Try Ubuntu without installing.

 

Then there is a setting to turn on the Bluetooth.  Turn the Bluetooth on, and now you can exit out of Ubuntu.

 

When you restart the PC, W10 should install the Bluetooth driver and you should be good to go.
