Im unable to have a clear cut audio while using my Bluetooth as a mode. The audio is getting a lot of disturbance. I have even tried with connecting to different Bluetooth buds there is no change in the audio quality.

Hi @Charan1809,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Dealing with Bluetooth audio issues can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to diagnose and fix the problem with your HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 16. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow.
Check Bluetooth Driver and Software Updates
Ensure that your Bluetooth drivers and any related software are up to date.
Update Drivers:
- Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand the Bluetooth section.
- Right-click your Bluetooth adapter and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
Update Windows:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Click Check for updates and install any available updates.
Reinstall Bluetooth Drivers
Sometimes, reinstalling the Bluetooth drivers can resolve issues.
- In Device Manager, right-click your Bluetooth adapter and select Uninstall device.
- Restart your laptop. Windows should automatically reinstall the Bluetooth driver.
Adjust Bluetooth Audio Settings
Check your audio settings to ensure they're optimized for Bluetooth.
- Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar and select Sounds.
- Go to the Playback tab.
- Select your Bluetooth device and click Properties.
- In the Advanced tab, try different formats under Default Format and see if the audio quality improves.
Reduce Interference
Bluetooth can be susceptible to interference from other wireless devices.
- Ensure your laptop and Bluetooth device are close to each other.
- Keep other electronic devices (like Wi-Fi routers and microwave ovens) away from the laptop and Bluetooth device.
Disable Power Management for Bluetooth Adapter
Power management settings can sometimes cause Bluetooth issues.
- Open Device Manager.
- Expand the Bluetooth section.
- Right-click your Bluetooth adapter and select Properties.
- Go to the Power Management tab.
- Uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
Use Bluetooth Troubleshooter
Windows has a built-in troubleshooter that can help identify and fix Bluetooth issues.
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
- Click Additional troubleshooters.
- Select Bluetooth and run the troubleshooter.
Check for Software Conflicts
Some software applications can conflict with Bluetooth functionality.
- Disable or uninstall any unnecessary software that might interfere with Bluetooth.
- Check if there are any updates for your audio or Bluetooth-related software.
Try a Different Bluetooth Device
Since you've already tried different Bluetooth buds, consider testing with another type of Bluetooth device (like a Bluetooth speaker) to see if the issue persists.
Hardware Issues
If none of the above steps work, there might be a hardware issue with your laptop's Bluetooth adapter.
By following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the Bluetooth audio issues on your HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 16.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
