@VCSplen, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're having trouble connecting your HP ENVY Desktop PC TE01-2000i to networks other than your current Wi-Fi, such as mobile hotspots or other Wi-Fi networks. Let's walk through the steps to resolve this issue.

Forget the Current Network

To disconnect and remove the current Wi-Fi network:

  1. Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar.
  2. Select Network & Internet settings.
  3. Click on Wi-Fi > Manage known networks.
  4. Find your current network, click it, and select Forget.

Try Connecting to a Different Network

  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon again.
  2. You should now see a list of available networks.
  3. Select your mobile hotspot or another Wi-Fi network.
  4. Enter the password and click Connect.

Check Network Adapter Settings

Sometimes, network profiles or adapter settings can restrict connections:

  1. Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
  2. Expand Network adapters.
  3. Right-click your Wi-Fi adapter (e.g., Realtek, Intel) and choose Update driver.
  4. Select Search automatically for drivers.

Run the Network Troubleshooter

  1. Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
  2. Find Network Adapter and click Run.

Reset Network Settings (if needed)

If the issue persists:

  1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings.
  2. Click Network reset.
  3. Restart your PC after the reset.
