The problem I am having is no matter what I do my speed connected wired is always under 50mb. wireless I average 50-100.
Now my dell hits at 189.34 wired and 120 wireless.
I also just upgraded to 400Mbps internet where before I only had 100 and the laptop had no problem hitting close to 100 almost every time.
I tried different cord.
unistalled driver, let windows reinstall.
then went to realtek site and grabbed the newest driver and still no go.
I also did a fresh install of windows to try and fix this problem. so only thing on this computer is antivirus thats it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in adavance.
modem and router are both provided by spectrum and are 3.1 dosis

dell xps great
iphone 6 great
andoid phone great
only problem is with this HP

Your machine only has 10/100BASE-T Ethernet LAN (RJ-45 connector). Its specs

You need 10/100/1000 Ethernet to get better speed. I'm using the following adapter
https://www.anker.com/products/A7514041
And I have two more USN 3.0 ports. There are few different brands around.
