lost wifi

HP Recommended
Example: Pavilion 23
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

all of a sudden my wifi stopped working 

no symbol to connect 

no wifi adapters showing

airplane mode greyed out in bottom r h corner of screen before log in

tried downloading adapters, resets, cleaned comp, restored to earlier times etc

nothing seems to work
