Hi:

 

If that is the case then your notebook does not come with the optional WWAN card that is required to connect to a cellular network.

 

Every HP EliteBook 820 G4 Notebook PC has a SIM card slot.

 

What 90% of them don't have is the expensive cellular option which requires the WWAN adapter.
