Hi @yash146,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Using a mobile network on your laptop can be achieved through several methods. Here are some of the most common ways to connect your laptop to a mobile network:

Method 1: Use Your Phone as a Mobile Hotspot

Most smartphones have a built-in feature that allows you to share your mobile data connection with other devices, including your laptop. This is known as a mobile hotspot or tethering.

On Android:

  1. Open Settings: Go to the Settings app on your Android phone.
  2. Network & Internet: Select "Network & Internet" or "Connections" depending on your phone model.
  3. Hotspot & Tethering: Look for "Hotspot & Tethering" and tap on it.
  4. Wi-Fi Hotspot: Tap on "Wi-Fi Hotspot" or "Mobile Hotspot."
  5. Turn On: Toggle the switch to turn on the hotspot feature.
  6. Configure Hotspot: You can configure the network name (SSID) and password.
  7. Connect Laptop: On your laptop, go to the Wi-Fi settings, find your mobile hotspot, and connect using the password you set.

On iOS:

  1. Open Settings: Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Personal Hotspot: Tap on "Personal Hotspot."
  3. Turn On: Toggle the switch to turn on the hotspot feature.
  4. Configure Hotspot: You can configure the network name and password.
  5. Connect Laptop: On your laptop, go to the Wi-Fi settings, find your mobile hotspot, and connect using the password you set.

You may use HP wifi direct: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1841315-1637332-16

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
