Hi @tushar666

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

If Nearby Share isn't working properly and your device is not showing in the list of available devices, you can try the following steps:

1. Verify Nearby Share Settings

Ensure Nearby Share is enabled on all involved devices:

  • Go to Settings > System > Nearby Sharing.
  • Ensure Nearby Sharing is turned on.
  • Choose who can share with you (Everyone nearby or My devices only).

2. Check Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Settings

Nearby Share uses both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to discover and connect devices:

  • Make sure both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your computer.
  • Ensure the devices are within range and visibility for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections.

3. Update Drivers

Outdated drivers can cause issues with connectivity:

Update Bluetooth Driver:

  • Press Windows Key + X and select Device Manager.
  • Expand the Bluetooth category, right-click the Bluetooth device, and select Update driver.
  • Follow the prompts to search for updated driver software automatically.

Update Wi-Fi Driver:

  • In Device Manager, expand the Network adapters category.
  • Right-click the Wi-Fi adapter and select Update driver.
  • Follow the prompts to search for updated driver software automatically.

4. Use HP Support Assistant

HP Support Assistant can help automatically detect driver issues and updates:

  • Download HP Support Assistant if it’s not preinstalled.
  • Open HP Support Assistant and navigate to the Updates section.
  • Check for and install any available updates for your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers.

5. Check Windows Updates

Keeping your operating system up to date can fix many software-related issues:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  • Click Check for updates and install any available updates.
  • Restart your computer.

6. Restart Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Services

Sometimes restarting related services can resolve issues:

  1. Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog box, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  2. Find Bluetooth Support Service and Wi-Fi service, right-click, and select Restart.

7. Reinitalize Nearby Sharing

Resetting Nearby Share can resolve configurations issues:

  • Toggle Nearby Sharing off and back on again.
  • Restart your computer to ensure settings are properly applied.
