Hi @Divesh-2,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Notebook - 15 is not connecting to Wi-Fi, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try.
Basic Checks:
- Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on the laptop. Check for a Wi-Fi switch or key combination (like Fn + F12).
- Restart both the laptop and the Wi-Fi router.
- Make sure you are within range of your Wi-Fi network.
Check Network Settings:
- Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar and ensure that Wi-Fi is turned on.
- Select your Wi-Fi network and make sure you enter the correct password.
Run the Windows Network Troubleshooter:
- Right-click the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar.
- Select Troubleshoot problems and follow the on-screen instructions.
Reset TCP/IP Stack:
- Open Command Prompt as an administrator (search for "cmd", right-click, and choose "Run as administrator").
- Type the following commands one by one and press Enter after each:
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
- Restart your laptop.

Check Network Adapter:
- Press Windows + X and choose Device Manager.
- Expand Network Adapters and find your Wi-Fi adapter.
- Right-click and select Update driver.
- If that doesn’t work, try selecting Uninstall device, restart your computer, and let Windows reinstall the drivers.
Reboot Router and Laptop:
- Unplug the router for 30 seconds and plug it back in.
- Restart your laptop and try reconnecting.
Reset Network Settings:
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
- Scroll down and click Network reset, then follow the prompts to reset your network settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
