Hi @dannyluis41,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP laptop is having issues with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

For Wi-Fi Issues:

Check Wi-Fi Settings:

  • Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled. You can check this by going to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi and ensuring it's turned on.

Update Network Drivers:

  • Go to Device Manager (you can search for it in the Start menu), expand Network adapters, right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter, and select Update driver.

Restart Network Adapter:

  • In Device Manager, right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter and select Disable device. Wait a few moments, then right-click again and select Enable device.

Check Airplane Mode:

  • Ensure that Airplane mode is off by checking the network settings or the Airplane mode toggle in the Action Center (bottom right of the screen).

Reset Network Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status and click on Network reset. This will remove and reinstall your network adapters and set other networking components back to their original settings.

For Bluetooth Issues:

Check Bluetooth Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.

Update Bluetooth Drivers:

  • In Device Manager, expand Bluetooth, right-click on your Bluetooth adapter, and select Update driver.

Restart Bluetooth Services:

  • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter. Find Bluetooth Support Service, right-click it, and select Restart. If it's not running, right-click and select Start.

Run Bluetooth Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters, and select Bluetooth. Follow the prompts to diagnose and fix issues.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates. Installing the latest updates may resolve connectivity issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

I have the same issue, none of the steps provided work as there is no wi-fi adapter listed in Network & internet settings. I tried resetting the network settings, still no adapter. In Device Manager there is not wi-fi adapter listed in Network adapters section either. It looks like the physical wireless card has failed as there is no Wi-Fi and no Bluetooth
