need part number for my Antenna

Hello

My wifi antenna was damaged by the hing the outer shielding was broken I took some shielding from another cable wrapped it around to make the connection with some tape. I need to be no more than two feet from the router to get a signal My situation is I can not find a replacement antenna I went thru the HP manual for my laptop, The part number it gives me is L22498-001 However when I contacted the people selling this part number they say that it will not work the connector is different than the one I have. Can anyone give me a usable part number for the antenna I need to look for

Laptop HP 17 bs049dx model

Wifi card HP P/N 915618-002 with a label on top of that reads replace with spare 927230 -855  GB1830

On the end of the antenna is silver tape that holds it in place  on it MV 025-9013Z-001  X 180125  60823  A01  R

Hi, Fred:

Your notebook comes with a RTL8723DE Wi-Fi adapter and there is only one Wi-Fi antenna wire in your notebook.

Chapter 3, page 23 of the service manual has the part number for the single antenna:

Single   HP part # 926425-001

Thank you for the information Very helpful Now I have to find one. I tried HP website but nothing comes back I did a google search found two but both are long gone At least I know what I'm looking for

Yes, I believe that you will have a very difficult time finding the antenna wire you need.

HP does not sell the antenna wire so the only suggestion I can offer would be to contact HP's list of authorized suppliers at the link below and see if they can find the antenna wire part number you need:

Well took a couple of days but I found three, Two in France they were asking a lot in my opinion and would not negotiate one dollar. Found one in Florida ordered it thru there website should be here next week Thank you for your help

Well I am on the hunt for the HP unicorn I have placed two orders and received back an order cancellation within a couple of hours of each Explaining on back order and have been for months I went down the list of HP resales for parts I have not received a reply I'm going to start calling local repair shops see if I can scare one up
