@mazinho1, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I understand you're experiencing network disconnections, especially when making calls, on your OMEN by HP 15-dh0007ne running Windows 11. Let's work together to resolve this.

Update Network Drivers

Outdated drivers can cause instability.

  • Go to Device ManagerNetwork adapters
  • Right-click your Wi-Fi adapter (e.g., Intel Wireless-AC) → Update driver
  • Choose Search automatically for drivers

Alternatively, download the latest drivers from the HP Software and Driver Downloads page.

Disable Power Saving for Wi-Fi Adapter

Windows may turn off the adapter to save power.

  • Press Windows + X → Device Manager
  • Expand Network adapters
  • Right-click your Wi-Fi adapter → Properties
  • Go to the Power Management tab
  • Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
  • Click OK

Change Wi-Fi Adapter Settings

  • Go to Control PanelNetwork and Sharing Center
  • Click Change adapter settings
  • Right-click your Wi-Fi connection → Properties
  • Click ConfigureAdvanced tab
  • Set Preferred Band to 5GHz (if supported)
  • Set Roaming Aggressiveness to Medium-Low

Disable Bluetooth Temporarily

If the issue occurs during calls (especially via apps like WhatsApp or Teams), Bluetooth interference might be the cause.

  • Try disabling Bluetooth temporarily and check if the issue persists.

Run HP Network Check

Use HP Support Assistant to diagnose and fix network issues.

Additional Tips

  • Ensure Windows is fully updated: Settings → Windows Update
  • If using a mobile hotspot, try switching to a different network
  • Test with another Wi-Fi network to isolate the issue

I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.

Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
