My internet connection completely sucks!  up and down up and down lost connection.  I have xfinity and they can never seem to help with the situation.  I also have their pods and still the issue remains.  I use to be able to connect to a hot spot but for one reason or another, I no longer can do that.  I cannot even connect to HP chat with the issues of connection.   I am not a computer expert so please when you do help be kind.  Thank you in advance

@CMartinh

Thank you for the information.

Here's a related HP Forums post that seems to have helped others: Click here
I have a few steps to resolve the issue:

  • Since you've already reinstalled drivers, I would recommend using an Ethernet cable (Wired) and update your Wi-Fi drivers using this link

  • Update the bios by visiting this link or through support assistant using an Ethernet cable.

  • Now try to connect to the internet wireless.

The best way to resolve the issue is by using the HP Guided Troubleshooter:

Click here to access it (simply select your description of the issue from the bottom of the screen to gain access to the next set of steps that should resolve your concern).

Have a nice day!!

would those be the drivers under network?  If so which driver?

@CMartinh

yes, you have to download and install the Intel WLAN driver.

Here is the link- https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp104001-104500/sp104315.exe

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Now be gentle for I am so not good at this.  What is the link supposed to do?  Thank you for all your help and support.

@CMartinh

The link I provided is for the network driver you were trying to download for your PC.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
