Just purchased a pavilion Wireless Keyboard 600 and cannot find the way to reverse how fn key works. What I want is to hold down fn key when wanting to (for instance) lower the music volume but I cannot find the way.

The FN + lock button (to right corner) seems not working to deactivate it ?

any new solution please ... its really pain as I'm excel user and need the F functions not multimedia

Hi@mmasri,Welcome to HP Community!

To enable FN Lock on the All in One Media Keyboard:

  • Press the FN key, and the Caps Lock key at the same time.
  • To disable FN Lock, press the FN key, and the Caps Lock key at the same time again.

If the above doesn't work, ensure you update the BIOS of your device from the HP website: Click here to find and install the same, if you have it connected to a windows device.

Once done, retry the above steps and, also check if the BIOS options to enable/disable Fn or action keys are visible, if its not available, it means it isn't designed as there are no other options to change that setting.

I hope that answers your query,
