I just brought a brand new $3700 laptop and im having wifi issues with it.
I legit brought a new router and same issues with wifi. its clearly just this laptop as my old omen laptop was fine and phone is fine.
it keeps dropping out and is so slow. HELP
seeing so many issues with realtek wifi cards in forums it has to be this.
what can I do? dont want to have to return it.
I have just tried this driver and same issue, drop outs. Realtek 8852CE WLAN Driver for Windows 11 (64-bit) - Yoga AIO 9 32IRH8 - Lenovo Support AU
now can i replace and upgrade this poorly made wifi card? to a intel one or will it not work?

Hi:
See if installing the latest driver from the Microsoft Update Catalog website helps any.
First file listed.
6001.16.126.303 2/24/2023
If that driver doesn't work either, you should be able to replace that troublesome card with this model:
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # L35282-005

Download and install the free 7-zip file utility from the link below.
The first file listed is for 64 bit.
After you install 7-Zip, right click on the Realtek driver cabinet file you downloaded.
Select 7-zip from the list of items on the menu.
Have 7-zip 'Extract to:' and let it extract the cabinet file into its folder name.
Ignore any errors and close out of 7-Zip.
Go to the device manager, click to expand the Network Adapters device manager category.
Click on the Realtek Wi-Fi adapter.
Click on the driver tab.
Click on Update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder that 7-zip created.
Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.
Then restart the notebook.

I updated it and not working still. am having slow issues. its barely working at all. its mostly on 2.4ghz is where its slow and drops out
5ghz is a bit better and useable , not sure what is going on here, if its faulty or just made poorly. im legit getting 2.93ms using 2.4ghz and again its only this laptop that has this issue.
bit weird its a brand new laptop.... and meant to be high end wifi card. unless a cable is faulty or broken

Sorry that the driver update didn't resolve the issue.
The only suggestion I can offer other than replacing the Wi-Fi adapter with the model I posted, would be to contact HP customer service and submit a support case under the warranty.
Maybe they have a fix that we folks that don't work for or represent HP don't know about yet.

so update:
my driver is not updating or uninstalling. nothing is working.
any suggestions?
its stuck and has not changed.
I called hp support and they are so bad. they have no stock for a brand new laptop and 3 day repair so. there is no ETA
i cant change the wifi card or i have to remove whole heat sink and fans. what do i do?
update 2: was able to update using Realtek driver cabinet file as above but when i reinstall the SP file from hp website it brings it back to old version. same one tech support said was wrong or maybe he was wrong? idk.. but im still having issues with 2.4ghz and drop outs
