I've had this computer since April 2022. My wifi works fine. It's just this computer. I've tried countless things over the last couple of years. Nothing really works. Every now and again, I get disconnected from the internet. Literally a few seconds later, I disconnect from the wifi, and then connect again, and the internet is working OK. It's just stupid.

I have come to the conclusion it's an issue with the wifi card. See this for example:

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Wireless-and-Networking/Realtek-RTL8822CE-802-11ac-pcie-adapt...

I am not in a position to "replace" my wifi card. I am constantly working on my computer and don't have the time for faff. The computer I have is an "all in one" which I had to get for work. I basically had to get a PC immediately back in April 2022 or I would have lost my job. Otherwise I would have got a decent PC.

I think the reality is I have to put up with it. The solution to this thread won't be "get a new wifi card". I've got the wifi card I've got and it is what it is. Is there *anything* I can try which can sort of make it work most of the time - if even that means I will still get disconnected but instead get disconnected less frequently?

I have already gone to device manager and changed "HT Mode" to "Disabled" in advanced settings. Did not really change anything - I still get disconnected from time to time with about the same frequency. I have awful internet anyway that's usually around 20-30Mbps as I'm out in the countryside so I don't think it matters that I've disabled this.

Thanks.

Is there some download page or something that I can refer to?
