after the most recent windows 11 software update, bluetooth is unusable for me. I am using an Hp Pavillion x360 and because i'm out of warranty i can't get any direct help witrh this issue. It seems to be an issue with the realtek 4.2 adapter not updating after the most recent update, does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello @zaiah999
Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... and I would like to help you.
To perform step (1), your notebook needs an active Internet connection. If Wifi is not working correctly, connect your notebook to the Internet router with a LAN cable.
(1) Run intel <autodetect> and install
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html
(2) Reboot and test again ...
(3) Please report your results

Your notebook has a combo card (wifi/bluetooth), so driver must be updated

Hi, @zaiah999
If your notebook has a Realtek Bluetooth 4.2 adapter, this is the latest W11 driver I could find for it:
