Thank you for posting on the HP Forum.  In order to assist you, I need further clarification.   The term "sim card driver" is confusing.  Do you mean simply SIM card?  If so, a SIM card doesn't need a driver.  You may find the following document, "A Look at What a SIM Card Is" from the Lifewire site helpful, especially the section on "Where Do I Get a SIM Card"?  See in this link:  https://www.lifewire.com/what-are-sim-cards-577532

For using SIM, you need to update the Mobile Broadbanddriver using following web-link:

 SIM card does not require driver, it ONLY needs your provider to support the WWAN card. Does your machine have a WWAN card ? If not, SIM card is useless.

Please check Device Manager to see does it have one of the following cards/modules

• HP hs2350 HSPA+ Mobile Broadband Module
• HP lt2523 LTE/HSPA+ Mobile Broadband Module
• HP lt2522 LTE/EV-DO Mobile Broadband Module
• HP un2430 EV-DO/HSPA Mini Card
• HP un2430 EV-DO/HSPA Mobile Broadband Module
