HOW TO USE SIM CARD IN MY LAPTOP, IT HAS A SIM SLOT BUT NO FUNCTION WHEN I INSERT THE SIM CARD

Hi:

 

Every HP Elitebook has a SIM card slot.

 

Your notebook does not have the optional, expensive but required WWAN adapter needed in order to connect to the cellular service.

 

The SIM card just authorizes you to use the cellular service.
