i have inserted the sim card into my laptop but i cant connect it to the internet. i have tried my possible means but still cant work

Every Elitebook 820 G3 has a SIM card slot.

 

Your notebook does not have the required WWAN adapter to connect to the cellular service.

 

All the SIM card does is allow you to use your cellular provider's network.
