hi there, my relative has a laptop with model name 15-bs161nm, which came with preinstalled windows 10 home, however it got mindbogglingly slow and since i was very involved in moderating it i wondered if it would be better to install windows 7 instead of having it struggle for 3 minutes just to boot, however i very soon ran into a problem, first there was the "a required cd dvd driver is missing" error which took me literally 7 hours to solve, however after that the installation proceeded as normal, but immediately upon seeing the desktop there was a problem, no network or bluetooth functionality worked and i just couldnt get it to recognize any of these devices, although usb works, i tried transfering some drivers via an usb but they literally just crash half way through, any assistance is appreciated!

in the meantime i found out that win7 isnt officially supported by hp for this laptop however i found the drivers through a 3rd party program which looks at hardware ids inside device manager and automatically lists available drivers by file name (had to find them manually though), so now everything is working perfectly as it should, i have really noone to thank since nobody replied to the post anyway
