Hi! @phanisami,

Do you need authentication to login to the college wireless network?

Are you able to connect to the network using an ethernet connection?

Have you connected to this WiFi in the past?

So if you have connected to it in the past, can you remove the profile?

Click the Network icon on the lower right corner of your screen.
Click Network settings.
Click Manage Wi-Fi settings.
Under Manage known networks, click the network you want to delete.
Click Forget. The wireless network profile is deleted.

Try this, then try to reconnect to the wireless.

Open Start, type: CMD
Right click CMD
Click Run as administrator

At the command prompt, type:

netsh int ip reset

Hit Enter
Exit the prompt then restart

Open Start > Settings > Update & security > Troubleshoot
Scroll down
Click Network adapters
Click Run the Troubleshooter

Lastly, Try updating the wireless drivers and BIOS on the PC to the latest version and check if the issue persists.

Update the wireless drivers on the PC using this link. Click Here

Note: Before uninstalling the wireless drivers make sure the PC is connected with an ethernet connection.

Also, update the BIOS using this link. Click Here

Hope this answers your query!

Have a great day! 🙂
