usb dongle issue

Hello, 

i have a HP 725 Multi-Device Rechargeable Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo. Does all the usb dongles, for example the usb dongle of hp150 wireless mouse works with my device. i mean does all the hp dongles work or are interchangeble with all the hp wireless devices?

I understand the concern and don’t worry I’ll help you with this.

HP requires a model-specific replacement receiver, because each dongle is factory-paired to the device family.

A dongle from an HP 150 Wireless Mouse will NOT pair with HP 725.

For multiple HP wireless devices to connect to a single USB dongle (receiver), both the devices and the receiver must explicitly be built for compatibility with either HP Link-5 or the HP Unified Receiver technology
