hpx2 laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i put in usb ethernet but do not get any faster speeds than the wireless. Is this a limitation of my hpx2 or can it be modified to use the ethernet like my other computer. Info: dedicated ethernet wire to modem. Top speed I can get is 20 mbp.  Windows status is 1.0gps. My other computers clock out at 400 mbs using the same wire.

What is your USB - NIC adapter ? Which USB port on your X2. I'm using the following adapter

       https://www.anker.com/products/variant/aluminum-3port-usb-30-and-ethernet-hub/A7514041

and I get full spped + 2 more USB 3.0 ports (must be connected to USB 3.0 port on computer)

Regards.

I have hpx2 and don't believe the anker would work any better than the 2 I tried which were amazon and tp-link. Neither one would boost my speed any higher than the wireless connection. There is something going on inside the tablet that limits the ethernet speed. This is what we need an answer to. Not selling a product.

If someone at hp would just state you can't fix it, then I would quit trying.
