Hi @vikrant96,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I'm here to help with issues related to HP products. For Wi-Fi disconnection problems on an HP laptop, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
Troubleshoot Wi-Fi Disconnection Issues
Check Wi-Fi Connection:
- Ensure that your Wi-Fi is turned on and the airplane mode is turned off on your laptop.
Restart your Devices:
- Restart both your HP laptop and your Wi-Fi router to refresh the connection.
Update Network Drivers:
- Go to Device Manager on your laptop.
- Find the Network Adapters section, right-click your Wi-Fi adapter and select "Update driver."
Run Windows Network Troubleshooter:
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
- Click on "Network troubleshooter" and follow the prompts.
Check Wi-Fi Network:
- Ensure that the Wi-Fi network you are trying to connect to is working properly.
- Check for interference from other wireless devices.
Change Power Management Settings:
- In Device Manager, right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter and select "Properties."
- Go to the "Power Management" tab and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
