Hi @Rossco78,
Thank you for the response.
Try these steps:
Update Network Drivers:
- Ensure that your network drivers are up to date. You can do this through the HP Support Assistant or manually.
- Open HP Support Assistant from the Start menu or taskbar.
- Go to "My devices" and select your laptop.
- Under "Updates," check for and install any available updates.
- Open Device Manager (search in the Start menu).
- Expand the "Network adapters" section.
- Right-click on your WiFi adapter and select "Update driver."
- Choose to search automatically for updated driver software.
Run Windows Update:
- Ensure that your Windows operating system is up to date as this can often resolve network issues.
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click on "Check for updates."
Network Troubleshooter:
- Run the built-in network troubleshooter.
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters and select "Internet Connections."
- Follow the on-screen instructions to diagnose and fix any potential issues.
Reset Network Settings:
- Sometimes resetting your network settings can help resolve connection issues.
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
- Scroll down and select "Network reset." This will remove and reinstall all your network adapters and set other networking components back to their original settings.
Check WiFi Settings:
- Ensure that you are connected to the correct WiFi network and that you have entered the correct password.
- Forget and reconnect to the WiFi network.
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > WiFi.
- Click on "Manage known networks," select your network, and click on "Forget."
- Reconnect by selecting the network from the list of available networks and entering the password.
I hope this helps.
