I have a HP Envy laptop built in 2017, Model#17m-ae111dx SN#[Personal Information Removed]. My wifi card went out and was wondering if I could upgrade this laptop to a Wifi 6e. I know it has two antenna wires on the old Wifi card.

Hi @baseball7
Yes, I would recommend the AX200

HP did not offer any Wi-Fi 6/6e cards in the model series.
There aren't any posts I could find where someone has tried to upgrade the Wi-Fi card in the model series.
Since your notebook has two antenna wires connected to the currently installed M.2 Wi-Fi card, you can experiment with one of these two cards and hope either one works. They have a good chance.
Wi-Fi 6e:
Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 AX + Bluetooth 5.2 M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # / SPS # M27269-005
Wi-Fi 6:
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # / SPS #L35282-005
Below is the link to the service manual:

Hp does not offer wifi 6 for this model, when their model was built the AX200 did not exist or any Wi-fi 6
I have a 17-BW0xxx series laptop that uses the wi-fi card Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 and I update to AX 200 and it works.
