@5CD432DJNG, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Frequent Wi-Fi disconnections especially during meetings can be frustrating. Let's work together to resolve this on your HP Laptop 15-fc0026AU. Please follow these steps:

Update Wireless Drivers

Outdated or incompatible drivers can cause instability.

  1. Go to the HP Support page: Official HP® Support
  2. Select your OS (e.g., Windows 11).
  3. Download and install the latest Realtek Wireless LAN Driver.
  4. Restart your laptop after installation.

Disable Power Saving for Wi-Fi Adapter

Windows may turn off the adapter to save power.

  1. Press Windows + X → Device Manager.
  2. Expand Network adapters → Right-click your Wi-Fi adapter → Properties.
  3. Go to the Power Management tab.
  4. Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
  5. Click OK.

Reset Network Settings

This clears any misconfigurations.

  1. Go to SettingsNetwork & InternetAdvanced network settings.
  2. Click Network resetReset now.
  3. Your PC will restart. Reconnect to your Wi-Fi.

Check for Windows Updates

Ensure your system is fully updated.

  • Go to SettingsWindows UpdateCheck for updates.
  • Install all available updates, especially optional driver updates.

Run HP Support Assistant

HP Support Assistant can automatically detect and fix issues.

Advanced Tip (Optional): Change Wi-Fi Channel

If your router supports it, switch to a less crowded channel (e.g., 5GHz band) via router settings. This helps especially during video calls.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
