That’s frustrating, especially on a new laptop! Frequent Wi-Fi disconnections on Windows 11 can be caused by power settings, outdated drivers, or network interference. Here are some steps to fix it:
Disable Power Saving for Wi-Fi Adapter
- Open Device Manager (Win + X → **Device Manager`).
- Expand Network Adapters and find your Wi-Fi adapter.
- Right-click → Properties → Power Management tab.
- Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
Forget & Reconnect to Wi-Fi
- Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar.
- Right-click your network → Forget.
- Reconnect and enter your password again.
Update Wi-Fi Drivers
- Open Device Manager → Network Adapters.
- Right-click your Wi-Fi adapter → Update driver → Search automatically.
Disable 802.11n Mode
- In Device Manager, go to Wi-Fi adapter properties → Advanced tab.
- Find 802.11n Mode and set it to Disabled.
Reset Network Settings
- Open Settings → Network & Internet → Advanced Network Settings → Network Reset.
- Restart your laptop after the reset.
Try these steps and let me know if you need more help! 🚀
