Hi @Ram911

Try re-installing the Wi-Fi driver -

1) In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, and then select Device Manager from the list of results.
2) In Device Manager, select Network adapters > the network adapter name.
3) Right-click on the network adapter, and then select Uninstall device > Delete the driver software for this device check box > Uninstall.
4) Restart the computer.

While doing that could you also note the name of the Wi-Fi adapter and let me know here?

Also, try updating the computer -

Step 1 Windows Updates troubleshooter -

Click on this link to run Windows Updates troubleshooter.

Step 2 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 3 HP Support Assistant Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Hi asmita

I want only one help from you that you just give me the drivers for mediatek WLAN AND BLUETOOTH drivers for device name VQF RT3290 for windows 10 which will support my hp pavilion g6 2229tu laptop.

I have seen lots of hp product having same problem due to your mediatek Wlan and Bluetooth product when it updated to higher version of windows.

Thanks for your valuable reply.

Your HP Pavilion g6-2229tu Notebook PC was shipped with FreeDOS. The website only has drivers for Win 7, 8 and 8.1 OS as the computer is tested with those OS but not tested with Win 10.

Download and install the Meidatek driver from this link.

If this does not work, try downloading the driver from the manufacturer's website - Mediatek MT7630E 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter

If this does not work, try installing Win 8.1 OS.
