You're very welcome.

Your wifi card is not present.

The Realtek PCle-FE Family Controller is the ethernet adapter.

You would have to open up your notebook and see what model wifi adapter HP installed.

My guess is that it is the Ralink one.

Here is the link to the service manual, where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure.

It's pretty easy to do on your model.

So your options would be to:

1. Replace the internal wifi card with this one...

Broadcom BCM943228HMB 802.11abgn 2×2 Wi-Fi Adapter, Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter   HP part # 730668-001.

You should be able to find this model card in used but tested and working condition on eBay.

Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

730668-001 | eBay

2.  Purchase an external USB wifi adapter.  This one is dual band plus it also comes with Bluetooth.

RMFC USB WiFi Bluetooth Adapter, Wireless Wi-Fi Dongle 600mbps Dual Band 2.4G/5.8G USB Bluetooth V4....

3.  Go back to Windows 8.1, where the existing wifi adapter should work again.

Hi:

Do you know what model wifi adapter your notebook has?

On notebooks with the Ralink wifi adapters, that is a very common issue on the newer builds of W10 where the Ralink wifi and/or Ralink Bluetooth adapter completely disappears from the device manager, and there is no fix other than to replace the Ralink wifi adapter with a different model, use a USB wifi adapter, or go back to W8.1.

Hi,

Do you mean change the wifi card in the laptop? In network Adapters I have Realtek PCle-FE Family Controller WAN Miniport (SSTP). Nothing is there for WIFI.

Thanks for helping
