Hi @Soubhagya1

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that your HP 14s is unable to connect to Wi-Fi, and the wireless adapter is showing Code 45, indicating that Windows currently considers the hardware device to be disconnected or not present.

Please try the following steps:

  1. Shut down the laptop completely.
  2. Disconnect the AC adapter and any external devices.
  3. Press and hold the Power button for about 15 seconds, then release it.
  4. Connect the AC adapter and turn the laptop back on.

Open Device Manager

  • Network adapters and check whether the wireless adapter is detected.
  • If it is listed, right-click the Wi-Fi adapter
  • Select Uninstall device, then restart the laptop.
  • Windows should attempt to reinstall the driver.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
