@agaura3, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Check Basic Wi-Fi Settings

Is Wi-Fi turned on?

Check Airplane Mode

Press Windows + A → Make sure Airplane Mode is off.

Restart Network Components

Power cycle the router/modem (turn off for 30 seconds, then back on).

Restart your laptop.

Run Windows Troubleshooter

Press Windows + I → Go to Update & Security → Troubleshoot.

Select Internet Connections → Run the troubleshooter.

Reset Network Settings

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.

Click Network reset (bottom of the page).

Your laptop will restart.

You’ll need to reconnect to Wi-Fi and re-enter the password.

Update/Reinstall Wi-Fi Drivers

Press Windows + X → Select Device Manager.

Expand Network adapters.

Right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter (e.g., Realtek, Intel, etc.).

Select Update driver → Choose Search automatically.

If no update works:

Right-click → Uninstall device.

Reboot your PC — Windows should reinstall the driver automatically.

Optional: Visit the HP Drivers Website and enter your model (15-dk2xxx) to manually download the latest Wi-Fi/LAN drivers.

Run a Command Line Reset

Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run these commands one at a time:

netsh winsock reset

netsh int ip reset

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns

Then restart your PC.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
