Touchscreen has not been working for a good while, 12C HID device code 10 appears, cannot find solution to solve this problem. At times touchscreen works, but when shut down and restarts, no longer in use, can you help, please.

Hi @TimLaw,
Thank you for visiting the HP Forums.
I see from your posts that you are having an issue with your HP Steam x360 Notebook and the Touchscreen giving an error HID device code 10 appearing. You could try this fix from Microsoft. It has worked for others.
If that does not help try restoring the BIOS to factory settings. F10 at starting of the Notebook.

this migh work go to device manager and look for 12c hid device therer are two double click and click on properties ther shoudl be a power mangement tab click on that and take the tick out of allow the computer to trun off this device to save power clikc ok. Do the same for the other 12C hid device. did this at 3 pm this afternoon it now half past tena t ight and i don't seem to be having problems its rebooted and the touch screen works.
