If you right click and choose Update driver on the sm bus does it find anything?
You laptop has I think 2 USB 2.0 ports and 2 USB 3.0 ports. My guess is the USB 3.0 is what is not working.I have seen other reports of driver not working or even not available. I know some with similiar laptop, maybe I can get some help from him.

Btw, can you post the hardware id of the USB from Device Manager? Right click, choose Properties.Go to Details tab and use the dropdown selector to choose hardware id. Post the top string of numbers.
Going to be offline for a bit, but be back later.

Updating the SM bus driver doesnt work. Still no device driver found.
Here are the hardware ID's from both the SM bus and the USB controllers:
SM BUS: PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_780B&SUBSYS_3593103C&REV_13
USB CONTROLLER: PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_7812&SUBSYS_3593103C&REV_03
Hope these help.

@ Mumbodog,
Already tried that one, doesnt do anything.
@ CheriIG
AWESOME ! Usb 3.0 controller are now installed and now all the usb ports work.
The only thing that remains is the SM bus controller driver.

Great news on the USB 3.0! Now to get that pesky Sm bus driver. I am really stumped on that one.Usually the AMD graphics driver takes care of it...and where it doesn't the Southbridge does.:(
I have some queries sent out to a few members, hopefully Daniel_Potyrala will respond with something helpful.
