Hi,
I have a HP WIN8/M6-1125DX.
I recently uninstalled the Synaptics TouchPad on accident and have been unable to figure out how to get it back. I tried using a system restore point but it repeatedly says that there is an error in the restore.
Can I reinstall the touchpad software or find it on my computer somehow?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Wes,
You will be OK.
You have options:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Option - Retrieve from Recovery Manager
- Retrieve your TouchPad driver from your Recovery Manager and reinstall it:
Using Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows 😎
- After the reinstallation, Reboot / Restart your computer and log in
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Option - Retrieve from Computer's Web Page
- Grab your Driver from your computer's own web page, download the package, and install it.
How to retrieve the TouchPad (or any) software from your computer's webpage:
1. Open this link:
HP ENVY m6-1125dx Notebook PC Drivers & Downloads
2. For TouchPad, Look in Category Driver - Keyboard, Mouse, and Input Devices
3. Click on the TouchPad package and then Install the package on that page.
4. After the reinstallation, Reboot / Restart your computer and log in
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Option - Download this package (same as that in your webpage)
- Download (Save) -- DoubleClick -- and Install: sp61880 TouchPad V16.5.3.3
- After the reinstallation, Reboot / Restart your computer and log in

Hi superman014:
Thank you for your inquiry:
I am sending you a link to the HP Support and Download page click here.
As I am unsure of the exact model on Pro Book you have. therefore I could not be more specific.
If you are unable to locate any software there for the touchpad, please reply back with the exact model and what Operating System you are running so I can assist you further.
