Hi!

I hope everyone's doing well. I just bought "HP ZBook Studio 15.6 inch G8 Mobile Workstation PC" an hour ago and was setting up the device and applications when I went to BIOS and was asked for "administrator password". The devices are usually refurbished here, so maybe someone set a password on it. I asked the "Computer Shop Owner" and he showed Me the other same devices as well and all has password set on BIOS. Is there a simple solution to it? Any help will be appreciated.

A quick community search for the terms BIOS & Password finds all these posts >here<, which are mainly closed.

 

Here is HP's official policy regarding BIOS passwords:

 

According to the Community's Rules of Participation:

 

4d. No posts shall include instructions/directions intended to bypass or subvert security mechanisms such as lock screens, BitLockers, BIOS lock, passwords, fingerprint/biometry scanners, PINs, or any other safety measures.

 

Therefore, this topic is being locked.
