Hi

I've got an EliteBook 2540p and need to reset the BIOS pw.

When I enter an incorrect BIOS pw a few times, it just gives me "System Locked.  Press the power button to restart the system"

HELP!!!  What do I need to do, please?

There is no master password or password generator for EliteBooks or ProBooks.

You must contact HP Support.

I just received a BIOS chip for a 6550b.

Will replace it and post how things go.

I want to change some bios settings on a HP8560w but it is locked. Serial # is {Personal Information Removed}. I would appreicate is if someone can let me know how to reset/recover the password.

I have an old nx8220 and went to fit a new hard drive I have found that the bios has an administrator password any help to unlock would be most appreciated.
