Hej, i need your help!

 

I have No halt code. It allows me to enter a password, then after 3 times tells me it is wrong and the system is locked and I must power off.

 

i cannot change the boot order, so booting from usb stick is not allowed,

 

here are my informations:

 

HP Elitebook 8730W

I will say from experience, that obtaining your UUID from within Windows is not accurate.  The Windows 'GUID' is different than the HP BIOS UUID.   What I see was that the first half (16char) of the string ('-' dont count these) is correct, but the 2nd half (16char) is not.  Some HP laptops allow you to press F1 at boot to display this information.  My toolset can also Display this information correctly.  If you cant boot to USB, make a seperate laptop SATA drive with my tool image, and replace the internal hdd with this.  When your machine boots, iot will bott to this new HDD, loading DOS and allowing you to run my tools.  If your model isnt listed, may as well try my tools.  If it is not suported, it will say so and quit clean.  No fuss, no muss.

full teardown, inspected main board no jumper or rtc etc.

pulled battery for 5 hrs, when reconnected power it would not boot untill I re-inserted the battery.

 

screen flashed message: BIOS recovery successful (500).

 

when I tried BIOS entry same story enter admin password twice, then third time with onscreen keyboard, then sysytem locked, reboot.
