Thanks...I will give that a try...any suggestions on getting the system to recognize the  webcam?  I am going to try the links you provided now for the audio and card drivers.

@StacyS

Try installing the youcam software from the following weblink for the webcam to work:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp45501-46000/sp45825.exe

That card drivers worked, unfortunately the audio did not....it returned the error " Driver Installation Failed: Could not find the MEDIA device for this driver".

The webcam driver does not appear to have worked, it seems it ran behind the scenes, never gave me a prompt to install and when I check device manager still does not appear...

For Webcam, try referring the following weblink:

If you need drivers, please follow these steps:
1. In the Run box type devmgmt.msc.
2. Unknown devices would be listed as such and marked out with a yellow question mark.
3. Select the unknown device or other device or the device for which you need drivers and right click to access Properties.
4. In the Properties window click on Details tab and select Device Instance Id  or Hardware ID from the drop down.
5. An alphanumeric string like this PCI\VEN_1217&DEV_7130&SUBSYS_012F1025&REV_01\4&6B16D5B&0&33F0 is the identification marker for the device.
6. Please provide this number so that we can suggest the appropriate driver.

@Gaurangna

Here is a link to the driver.

Here are the instructions for installing the driver in Compatibility Mode.  The instructions are for Windows 7 drivers so just select "Windows Vista" instead of Windows 7.

Hi Vidya,

I have Windows 7 installed on my system so no need to select windows Vista for me.And after installation even Sound is not coming although I cant see any yellow question mark(indication of not updated) against Coprocessor now in device management.

Please guide how to proceed.

Thanks in advance.
