Sorry but I need one more piece of info.

There are many models of the DV6 series.

Look for a model# on the bottom it should look like DV6-xxxxnr

Let us know and we will help you with the drivers.

Pavilion dv6 is the only thing written on the bottom for a model. Seems it is dv6-t according to the s/n and p/n which are:

s/n: [Personal Information Removed]

p/n: FY848AV

i had problrm with my compaq presario v3700 amd turion 64x2 after upgrading to window7...

2 base system device need driver.... i cant update the driver....

and sometimes there is no sounds all silent
