So today out of the blue,Beats Audio stopped working.
I didn't do anything, made no changes whatsoever yet still Beats Audio suddenly stopped working.
It gives an error message saying "Cannot find .startup file!."
Is there any solution that does not involve uninstalling audio drivers?I have bad experiences with uninstalling drivers and i don't want to risk losing my laptop's audio.

Hi,
The beats audio interface is part of the IDT audio software package, so if a definition file is missing, you're going to have to reinstall it.
Try using Recovery Manager to reinstall your original IDT software - the procedure for using recovery manager to reinstall Software and Drivers is detailed in the relevant document on the link below.
When this has completed, restart the notebook.
If the above doesn't correct the issue, post back with the following details.
1. The full Model No. and Product No. of your notebook - see Here for a guide on locating this information.
2. The full version of the operating system you are using ( ie Windows 7 64bit ).

Hey that fixed the problem.Thanks.
However i encountered another error after this. The Beats Audio interface opens but the sliders don't do anything. The sliders on the right side work and i can turn beats audio on and off but the beats sliders viz. Bass,Def.,Center,Space and Focus do not work.
But i searched around the net and uninstalled IDT High Definition audi driver from device manager and restarted the laptop and ir automatically installed the IDT driver and now Beats works just fine.
Thanks for your help.
