Unfortunately, I do not know much about troubleshooting network connections after the correct drivers have been installed, and the device reports working correctly in the device manager.

Hello Paul, I was hoping you could assist me with some similar driver issues, as you seem to be a great help to other members. 

I've just finished downgrading my aunt's laptop from windows 8 to windows 7 Pro 64bit (she was finding it really difficult to work with windows 😎 but it seems that a few of the drivers did not make it through instillation. I've already browsed through the drivers available for this model but the ones I need are not there. I spoke with customer support and she said that it's pretty much trial and error...but I was hoping you or someone else might know the right ones to use. 

These are the drivers I need:

Ethernet Controller
Bluetooth Controller
Network Controller
PCI Device
Sm Bus Controller

laptop:

HP 2000-2C12NR

I have less than 8 hrs to have it ready for her so I greatly appreciate any help you or anyone else provide!

*UPDATE*

So, I've found and installed the drivers for Bluetooth, Network, and PCI (YAY!!), but the Ethernet (Lan) drivers I tried didn't work. And I've yet to find the correct SMBus controller.

Below is the link to the AMD chipset driver you need for the ID of PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_780B:

You want to download and install the first file on the list and reboot.

Please let me know what model Wireless network card is installed in that model and I will post the link to the corresponding bluetooth software and driver for it.

You need this driver for the ethernet card.

Please locate the drivers for HP Pavilion 15 n204tx Notebook PC Window7 Profesional 64bit.

I do not find ethernet, network, Graphic card Nvidia Geforce drivers.

Hi:

You can use all of the W7 x64 drivers and software from this model on yours (except the audio if yours has the Realtek audio chip).

It is important that for the graphics, you install the Intel graphics driver first, reboot, then install the nvidia graphics.
