I’ve got an HP ProBook 6560b issue.  Product Number – XU052UT#ABA,  that’s having an issue with Bluetooth.  It appears theunit comes with Bluetooth,  I’ve ensured that the Bluetooth service is
running but I can’t seem to do anything with Bluetooth.

That may be, but unless you see a Bluetooth device listed in alphabetical order in the device manager, it doesn't have bluetooth.

You can also check the BIOS where it has to be listed if it is present.

Hi:

I cannot find anywhere that bluetooth is listed as included in that product number.

In the device manager, is there a Bluetooth radio showing up?

On the datasheet bluetooth is listed:

HP Integrated Module with Bluetooth

® v2.1

Hi:

The only advice I can offer is to reinstall the bluetooth driver and see if that helps.

You would install the driver for the model wireless card that you have.

Hi:

What model wireless adapter do you have in your notebook?

That would be the adapter that I need to find the bluetooth software/driver for.

i don't think i know.. where do i check?

Go into the device manager and click on the network adapters section.

You will find the wired and wireless network adapters listed there.
