Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

What driver are you installing -- something you downloaded from ATI/AMD?  Or, something you downloaded from HP?

We can proceed when you provide the information.

Thanks

OK, then my suggestion is to download and run this utility from AMD to uninstall the AMD drivers and any other leftover stuff:  http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMD-Clean-Uninstall-Utility.aspx

Once that is done, try reinstalling the AMD drivers you got from the HP site.

Good Luck

Hello Sir,

Last night I did a factory reset of my system with the disks provided by the hp to complete format and restore the pc to as of the factory condition, the process was completed and still the same problem , when it completed the installation of whole thing and then restarted then install that hp web thing that runs before windows start. After everything when system restarted again the same issue of black screen . This time everything is removed by hp disc even though the same issue. Kindly help me out what exactly is the problem with the pc. I consulted one of my IT friend he said there is bios issue regarding switching the Graphics but in my laptop bios there is no advanced option to switch graphics.

My laptop is Pavillion dv6 3050 tx .

Kindly help me out with the issue.

Thanks
