notebook 2000 5cG24501HD
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Was hoping to post this in repair but i'm sure i'll find out where i need to send it. Thought i would see if anyone at HP could pull some strings for me as i don't have money to buy me a new notebook. Dropped my notebook in the living room and the right hindge became loose. i have been careful with it since that time in 2015.

The other day the entire left hindge busted out. Man, the silver mechanism is out and the right hindge finally came out too. So, i have a lap top that still works but have to be very careful. the screen is completely free from the pc. only thing attaching it are the wires on both ends.

I purchased this at best buy and will try calling them but im on limited govt. income only 755 and my rent is 600 until if ind myself a job being i just moved back to a small town here in WA state. How much do you think it will cost me to have it repaired or if HP would repair it? Thanks

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.

They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number.
Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.

Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
