Ok, I'm back, lol. I ordered and installed the new WLAN card today. It is the exact same as the one that was in there before and I am unfortunately having the exact same result - it's not being detected at all. I'm totally at a loss for what else to try at this point. Is there any other thing that it could possibly be?

Other than needing a new motherboard, I don't know what else the problem could be.

 

Did you try resetting the BIOS to its defaults?

Yes it works,thank you.

 

But despite beeing able to connect to Internet,i can't download some other drivers, could you maybe help me with these?

Everything works except the for the bluetooth. When I start the installation at some point it says " Bluetooth hardware must be switched on to run this setup package." I tried to enable it with the HP Wireless Asisstant but the "ON" button is grey and I can't do a thing.
