Went to device manager then Network Adapters. Bunch of stuff I may have downloaded in error trying to solve this problem. I see the Realtek adapter for WIFI and several WAN Miniports.. But nothing for NIC Realtek (Hardwire) Network Adapter

I dowloaded the driver SP64340.exe as you mentioned. When I go to the file it is saved in I double click on it and nothing happens but it ask to click to uninstall. It does not ask to INSTALL. It will not download to my computer system. It is still saved in a file/folder. Any Suggestions? Thank You.

i go here,
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers
i then type in for you,, 15 - d069wm.,enter key is requird, odd but yes.
and get
what
win10-64, is only thing offered. do not use drivers not matching your PC, or bad happens.
the one exception is at Realteks home page, support, those might work too, but not for sure.
seems on this pc only one chip used,(but again i dont have access to serialized PC data base, ever only HP direct help does.
(7.3 MB)
it clearly says
Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver;'
if you have been loading drivers from non HP section here, you have mangled the system. eg loading W7 driver fail.
if you did that from other sites, (not realtek) you mangled that too. ive no idea what you have done but sounds , bad.
if you messed it up bad, you will then need to do a F11 full restore.
every driver listed there, on that EXACT page must be installed and working if not, the system has corruption.
Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller
Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller
for kicks.
i unpacked the HP installer there, the Reltek code installs a vast number of different ETHERNET chips, (family)
and does VISTA to W10, does there full family
all you have to do is load these above HP exe.
if it still fails. (on all ports of a working router) then in device manager remove the driver.
and install it again.,
if the device manager shows its not right, you can take that to the bank.
I even have loop back plug to test in PC made to see if the ethernet port works
and nice program that does that.
we do that when
router proves working
cable good
and your realtek port drivers are good, and all other key chip under it, like Intel logic ,etc.
the loop back is just a set of jumpers on the TX /RX lines.(pairs)
if you loaded wrong driver to the chips that support this Realtek chip, then that needs fixn first.
think like its a card house.

I only downloaded from HP link you recommended and driver. Did not fix my problem. Boderline discouraged. It's been nearly 2 weeks now. I never gave up though nothing seems to help. Could be I'm doing something wrong. I will repeat all the steps you suggested as best as I understand them ( A little Complicated for me). Maybe I'll get lucky tonight and through this weekend. I want to take the time to say THANK YOU for taking the time to try and help me. Again, Thank you so much.

so windows 10 right.
in the bottom task bar,, is the icon of wired ethernet, see below orit it it the wifi radar icon? or nothing, ?
Eternet wired connections.
- try second cable yet, or another router port?
- try another pc that works, at above ports yet? (what if this device is bad , the router )
- the Device manager shows no wired network present, this tells me the driver is wrong or deeper corruption or the chip is bad.... did you click Device manager then view ,then show hidden devices, see ethernet chip now?
- control panel , click network sharing center, my guess top right shows no ethernet icon. then
- click setup a new connection? does this wake it up? or cant find the chip ,ethernat.
- all this fails.? then the chip is bad, or the OS has serious corruption.(virus, etc)
- Do a F11 full restore is the cure, here, if not the chip blown out . from lightening.
- or switch to wifi and use that, ? then later, try to fix wired?

Yes, like I said in my 1st original question. Tried 3 different modems & wires, Including ALL Eithernet Wired PORTS also mixed and match them. All same results. Oh when I connect same wire to same Moden in port all PORTS WORK GREAT ON MODEM. But when I connect one end of Eithernet wire to my Notebook & the other end to my Modem Eithernet Ports the eithernet light goes out on Modem and there is no Eithernet wired Icon on Notebook Screen. IN Talking with my ISP Tech Support which includes all 3 Routers (one brand New) the results was the same. Could no longer connect to internet by wire. After Several test with Modems, Including checking in device Manager for LAN Network Adapter for wired connection. It was not there (Wired Connection). The only connection still there was for Wifi Connection ONLY. I was told the problem was with my HP Notebook. Also that I needed to restore or download the NIC Eithernet Network Adapter cause it was missing. Still haven't solved this problem in nearly 2 weeks. For the 1st time EVER I connected my HP Notebook to Wifi so I can have access to the internet to be able to download from the HP website to solve this issue. There are no or has been no little computer Screen as your RED Arrow pointed to since day one of this issue of not not able to connect by wire. That was one of the things My ISP Tech Support had me look for. It is NOT there or showing on my HP Notebook. Could be something I'm doing wrong. After following your instructions to download the driner for my HP Notebook I saw different things in the device Manager I had not seen before with the WIfi adapter and in Hidden devices then I don't know what i did but they all disappeared after I Replied to you about it. I will try to download driver again the way you recommended once again.
