Yup;

That is what I need...

That Serial I/O driver should install that device too.

Hi:

For the 6007:

This package provides HP 3D DriveGuard Software (HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection) for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. HP 3D DriveGuard Software protects the hard drive by parking the heads if the notebook is accidentally dropped, or is abruptly impacted by another object.

File name: sp71811.exe

ACPI\INT33A0:

This package provides the Intel Smart Connect Technology driver forsupported notebook models running a supported operating system. TheIntel Smart Connect Technology driver enables the system to resumefrom sleep mode and update supported web applications such asemail. The system enters sleep after the update is completed.

File name: sp66102.exe

ACPI\INT33D6:

Try the W8.1 Virtual buttons driver from the support page.

Okay, will install those drivers now...

and what of the others?

HP Recommended

Try the W8.1 driver for that too...the two top OF41's.  That Intel serial IO driver should have installed those.

If you use 7-Zip to extract the files from the Serial I/O W7 64 bit windows installer from the Intel site driver I posted, you can see the driver supports that ID.

You could try browsing to the extracted driver folder and manually install the driver.

This is the W8.1 driver.

This package provides the Intel General-Purpose Input/Output (GPIO) Host Controller Driver which enables devices that require the useof GPIO pins on the system. This package is provided for supportednotebook models running a supported operating system.

File name: sp65412.exe

In any event, if you are going to upgrade to W10 anyway, those couple missing drivers aren't going to get in the way and the W10 drivers will be on the support page.

The system did a crash dump... rebooting into safe mode to determine if that will rememdy that issue.

Strange... would it best advisable to just jump to Windows 10 now being that the basic drivers are loaded and then upgrade to the 10 drivers it's going to need?

HP Recommended

I would recommend that.

You can get the download directly from Microsoft if you want.  Select the immediate upgrade option.

Oppps!!!  Now, apparently there is stil something wrong with going to Windows 10.

See the attached snipping image I took from the application when I attempted to do so.

It appears I am at a stand still with this unit, it will not update the Serial IO's needed now... and for whatever reason or another Windows 10 will not take - it keeps saying like it has from my previous post... that a wireless lan adapter is now the issue?

Puzzled how to overcome this issue with this unit.

As it will not bypass the driver still missing, as it's Windows 7 instead of 8.1 for whatever reason or another, I am not sure!?

Win 8.1 drivers don't work.

Can any one help me with a fix to all of this?

Thanks, in advance?
