Hello,
My laptop won't boot up right after I reset the CMOS battery. It went black ever since, the power is ON & CAPs LOCK on keyboard blinks but no sign of a video signal.
Any suggestions to what's happening & what are the steps I need to take to restore visual. All feedbacks are much appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the information,
Here is a link that explains the sequence that the caps lock light is giving you. It appears to be an issue with the memory on the computer.
The link explains what your next step should be. If you have questions about any of the steps let me know.

Hello SRagia,
I see that you are having start up problems with your computer. I would like to help with this issue but i need some information.
Can you provide the full model and product number of the computer? Here is a link that shows how to find that information.
Does the caps lock light blink in a sequence?

Hi,
here's the serial, model no. & product no. : Product ---> C8C40PA#ABG
Serial ---> {Personal Information Removed}
Model ---> Compaq CQ58-202TU
OK to your question?? Yes the CAPs LOCK blinks in a sequence. While turning the laptop ON ..it blinks 3 times then stops for almost 2-3 seconds then continues on another 3 repeatedly.
